Visa support

Since 2008 Lithuania has been accessed to the Schengen area. So the citizens of the 24 states that belong to the Schengen area and some other countries have equal rights to travel without visas and border control.

The full list of countries whose citizens do not require visas to enter the Republic of Lithuania:

  14. China (for holders of diplomatic and official passport only);
  15. Costa Rica;
  16. Croatia;
  17. Cyprus;
  18. Czech Republic;
  19. Denmark;
  20. Ecuador;
  21. Estonia;
  22. Finland;
  23. France;
  24. Germany;
  25. Guatemala;
  1. Greece;

UN Laissez-passer allows the holder to travel to the Republic of Lithuania without a visa for up to 90 days within half a year.

If your country is not included in the above list, the official invitation will be sent to you. In that case please add 10 EURO to your Registration fee to cover the cost of Lithuanian state duty for registration of the invitation.

Please provide necessary information for obainig the official invitation not later than September 1, 2008, because Migration department of Lithuania issues the invitation during two weeks after appropriate query.
